Description
This is a spectacular extravaganza in twelve acts with the storyteller's voice of Omar Sharif. The Jumana Show "Secret of the Desert" is set to captivate its visitors with stunning audio-visual, pyrotechnics, water and laser effects, some of which have never been seen in the Middle East before.
The stage play celebrates the Arabian region's rich history and culture. It is translating fable and folkloric themes from Persia, the Maghreb, the Levant, the Gulf region, Oman and Yemen, into a spellbinding fantasy. The show is performed on a stage set inside a lake containing 10 millions liters of water - the size of the stage is on par with world class opera or ballet theatre stages.
The play:
On a dark and mysterious night the ailing King Othman prepared himself to return to the birthplace of his ancestors, deep into the desert of Arabia. Before he will die the wise king wishes to bequeath to his sons the seven lessons of life.
